BIGLEN
WILL OFFICIALLY UNVEIL NEW CAR AT SEMA 2002
Miami,
FL Join the BigLen Camp at the 2002 SEMA Show
in Las Vegas! Modified Mag booth #24297 (Center Hall)
is the team's spot of choice, for the official unveiling
of Len Monserrat's new weapon - a 2003 Tube Chassis
Mitsubishi Eclipse. The much anticipated and speculated
racecar will be made public on Wednesday, November 6th,
at 2:00 PM.
Modified Mag and Team BigLen will answer all brewing
questions regarding the highly classified machine, together
with a series of exciting announcements. Julie Wildgoose,
business development manager for Modified Mag and the
mastermind behind the joint event, looks forward to
the unveiling. "We are very excited about working
with Len, as he and his team, have shone nothing short
of professionalism towards this project," she expresses.
The event promises to raise eyebrows, as Team BigLen's
plans for 2003 will also be released.
The new car has been put together by ROOMAN Motorsports,
located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Having hired the chassis-building
firm earlier this year, despite it being a long haul
from the shores of sunny Miami Beach, Florida, Monserrat
now has first hand experience of how a top quality chassis
shop should operate. "Keith Burgan has impressed
us with the quality of the fabrication, the attention
to detail, and the inability to cut corners. There is
only one way ROOMAN does things, the Right Way,"
says team owner and driver, Len Monserrat.
As a former NIRA champion, Len has brought his team
to what appears to be a third consecutive top 5 finish
in the 2002 NOPI, The Fast & The Furious Racing Series.
The team heads into the final event of the season in
the 5th spot for the championship, with three semi-final
finishes throughout the season. While other developmental
milestones have been reached throughout the year, it
is no surprise that the team has focused on preparing
for the aforementioned unveiling at this year's SEMA
Show. "We are very fortunate to be in our current
position. We have worked hard and come a long way and
we are looking forward to this moment," says crew
chief Danny Vidal.
Humberto Aubi, Vice President of Dynamic Turbo
Florida's largest sport compact performance warehouse
and title sponsor of Monserrat's race program three
years running, also looks forward to the new car. "I
did not plan on attending this year's show with the
rest of my co-workers until Len gave us the news regarding
the unveiling of the car. My plans are booked."
