BLE PRODUCTS EARNS SEMA 2006 BEST NEW STREET PERFORMANCE PRODUCT AWARD RUNNER-UP

Miami, FL – ‘What happens in Vegas…’  In this case, the BigLen folks brought their Vegas trophy home!!!  Call them crazy; however, they were glad to do it, as the newly released BLE Products Solid Lifter Conversion Kits grabbed a spot on SEMA’s (Specialty Equipment Market Association) podium at this year’s 2005 SEMA Show, in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

 

Announced on November 1^st, at the SEMA 2006 New Products Awards Breakfast, spotlighted by racing legend Emerson Fittipaldi, the Miami-based motorsports company’s product line was chosen; by a panel of judges, comprised of industry professionals, as a top three finalist.

 

“It is great to know that all the efforts from conception to final production have paid off.  It is an even greater honor to know that industry colleagues recognize your creation in this fashion.  With the abundance of products in this years showcase, we are truly grateful and flattered by the nomination.  Our congratulations go out to MSD for their award,” says BLE Products founder Len Monserrat.

 

With over 1200 new products on hand, SEMA’s New Product Showcase seemed larger than ever - just another sign of the continued growth of the aftermarket.  BLE Products is proud to have taken part in this year’s showcase and in the 2005 SEMA show as a first-time exhibitor.  The BLE Product’s Solid Lifter Conversion Kits line is the company’s first product offering.  “We are simply taking items developed throughout the years for our own race engines and making them available to the public.  We love what we do.  We eat, sleep, and bleed automotive,” says BLE Products Global Sales Manager, Alex Valdes.

Until now, the benefits of solid lifter high-performance engines were limited mostly to domestic OHV applications, with few exceptions.  Each BLE Solid Lifter Conversion Kit replaces the factory hydraulic lifters and comes with all necessary hardware for a straightforward installation.  These Conversion Kits are perfect for anyone upgrading the factory valvetrain and/or camshafts in their sport compact engine. 

Applications are now available for the Dodge Neon SRT-4, Stealth TT, Mitsubishi Evo8, 3000GT, 4G63 Eclipse and newly developed Nissan SR20.  Currently under development are kits for the Ford Mustang 4.6 SOHC & DOHC V8 engines, GM Ecotech, and the Mazda Miata.
