TEAM BIGLEN ADVANCES TO FINAL ROUND AT NDRA NATIONALS

Miami, FL – “BigLen in the Finals!” echoed through the park as Len Monserrat drove his BLE Products Mitsubishi Eclipse to a runner-up finish at this weekend’s NOPI Drag Racing Associations’ (NDRA) South Florida Nationals at Moroso Motorsports Park, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. 

Team BigLen, fueled by the cheers of their hometown track’s fans, good fortune, and hard work throughout the weekend, defeated fellow-competitor Manny Cruz in the semi-final round to face defending-champion Ara Arslanian and his Streetglow Solara for all the marbles.  At the hit, Monserrat left on Arslanian with a .061 reaction to a .274 from the Streetglow pilot.  Ara drove past Len as the Dunlop Tires-wearing Mitsubishi Eclipse slowed to a 9.90@134MPH.

The BigLen Mitsubishi, sporting the new ‘ROCK SOLID’ BLE Products colors, looked and performed the part throughout the event.  The positive feedback from spectators and fellow racers alike added to the ‘buzz’ in the Florida-based team’s pit.

Asked to some up his thoughts on the race, Monserrat had this to say: “It was a great weekend at the racetrack to coincide with our recent BLE Products release.  The crew was excited and morale in the pit was stratospheric.  We still have plenty of work to do but we are happy with the outcome of this event.  My hat goes off to Ara and the Bullish guys for their stout program and their great sportsmanship.”

Team BigLen will ride this wave of momentum and plans to continue their forward progress at the upcoming NDRA Tampa Nationals at Bradenton Motorsports Park, in Bradenton, Florida on October 8^th -9^th.  The team wants to particularly thank the Titan Motorsports team for providing a much needed, yet overlooked resource this weekend – race fuel.
